After its premiere at IndieLisboa and the selection at Cannes’ Director’s Fortnight section, The Revolution Hunter, by young director Margarida Rêgo, proceeds its international path on to many festivals all around the world, such as T-Mobile New Horizons (Poland), Belo Horizonte Short Film Festival (Brasil), Gindou Festival (France), Kaunas Film Festival (Lithuania), Janela Internacional de Cinema do Recife (Brazil), L’Alternativa (Barcelona), Panorama Internacional Coisa de Cinema (Brazil), Seville European Film Festival (Spain) and Rio de Janeiro International Short Film Festival (Brazil).
The Revolution Hunter is a film that explores the relationship between two generations, two different times and two different fights. As if we could transform a photograph by drawing on it. As if we could transform the present by drawing over the past.
