1) SELECTION COMITEE
Position: Join the selection comitee (cinema programming)
Place: Lisbon, Portugal
Regime: Collaboration
Dates: September 2022 – May 2023
(+ availability during the festival’s 20th edition, from April 27 to May 7, 2023)
Compensarion: corresponding to the number of films watched.
What will you do?
- Watch submitted films with a particular focus on international feature films (the expected number of films is 150 – 200);
- Attend the regular selection committee meetings (at least one meeting per month);
- Attend (and travel, if necessary) the other industry events to watch the films;
- Be involved in the festival events, including film screenings and moderating Q&A’s;
- Write the signed texts for the communication materials.
What do you need?
- To have in-depth knowledge of the festival and its programming/curatorial work;
- Love of cinema and time available;
- To be fluent in English and Portuguese;
- Involvement in the cultural life of Lisbon and its diverse communities;
- Previous experience in film programming is welcome.
