Pre-Inaugural Film-Concert for Os Dias da Música at CCB
April 21 (Wednesday), at 21h30, in Cinema São Jorge, Mário Marques (saxophonist) and Daniel Bernardes (pianist) present a multidisciplinary film-concert that pays tribute to the work of Michel Giacometti invoking his ethnomusical recordings made in Portugal, and that serves as a pre-opening of Os Dias da Música in CCB. Created by the musicians Mário Marques and Daniel Bernardes, and edited and visually conceptualized by Gonçalo Tarquínio. The concept of the show consists on an interaction of these musicians with the sounds and singings recorded by Giacometti, while developing the melodic themes and rhythms present in those recordings.
