Within every Swede lies a cow…and shit is a laconic expression coined during the making of this film. It is quite true that the Swedish love their cows. It is something holy and natural that talks to us all serving also as a reminder of the fact that most of today’s Swedes are rarely more than two generations removed from country folk.
Captain Grogg and his deck-hand Kalle loads up Grogg’s little sailing boat. Apparently they’re going on a long journey. Beer and vodka seem to be the most important load. The trip offers storm as well as calm seas. A mermaid, with strangely Swedish characteristics becomes so interested that she doesn’t notice when the sharks attack her. This is another exciting adventure of Captain Grogg and his deck-hand, this time fighting against a terrible lion.

It is beautiful but Bergdahl is awaken from his artist dreams. Captain Grogg arrives to get his portrait painted. Bergdahl fills a syringe from which a jet of colour by some magic the portrait is painted. But Grogg dislikes the result, especially the nose. More noses are done, and he doesn’t like any of them. Grogg chases Bergdahl around the room. In the end Bergdahl walks out with Grogg under his arm.
A film about multi-media artist Kjartan Slettemark’s Nixon Visions, the collective title of his famous pictorial version of president Nixon, made 1971-74. It has its beginning in, among other things, Slettemark’s slogan “Opposition Must Pay Off”. The new, coffee-loving Nixon is marketed in a satirical balancing act between humor and seriousness. Slettemark’s advertising campaign is ” a study of Nixon’s mental health in wich ” the face is the mirror of the soul”.
