Peter Whitehead shows the legendary Rolling Stones on and off stage during their tour of Ireland in 1965. It is celebrated here a younger version, ambitious, their golden years in the opinion of many. A stage before celebrity and a collection of unforgettable songs, the film was originally filmed in black and white and later restored in digital format by director Mick Gochanour and producer Robin Klein. In interviews the band members talk about the strangeness of fame in their everyday life.
