Quelqu’un d’ extraordinaire marks the directing debut of Monia Chokri, actress some of the films by Xavier Dolan (the film’s editor); this hilarious comedy focuses on a socially crippled 30 year old girl who is forced to join a bachelorette party of an old friend, confronting her with the gap between her and the world to which he belonged in adolescence.
