The 1947 Kon-Tiki expedition inspired, twenty-two years later, four friends to build a raft that lead them down the Portuguese rivers Zêzere and Tagus, from the mouth of Ribeira Sertã to Lisbon. That summer of 1969 was mentioned in an important vespertine newspaper and now, forty years later, the son of one of the adventurers wrote a book of poems that links the description of the trip to characters of travel literature from the sixteenth and seventeenth centuries. The film is a documentary-like performance, a recital on the water that puts the poem into practice, in a whole new journey.
