When, in 1947, the soprano Denise Duval met the French composer Francis Poulenc, her career never again freed itself from the characters she gave life to. In this documentary, which recovers many of the singer's performances and rehearsals, we learn about the importance of the connection between the two and how her life is intertwined with the main roles she played, particularly in La Voix Humaine, in which a woman talks on the phone with her lover now in love with someone else.
