As the hours go by, the fear of what might happen to two teenagers left alone on a road lost in the middle of nowhere grows. The new voices of Recife blow winds of change in the panorama of Brazilian film, as is confirmed in They’ll Come Back. Cris and her older brother were abandoned on the roadside and expect a solution. When her brother gets tired and decides to go looking for help, Cris is on her own and night is coming. In anticipation of several possible outcomes, all of them distressing, the judgments gather. A script that revolves on expectations, the standards and certainties of the spectator ‚ and that only delivers the story as its reception promises to be effective ‚ along with an unblemished photography.
