Through letters sent by Glauber Rocha to his friend and collaborator Jirges Ristum in Rome, in the 70’s decade, we discover a little about Glauber’s ideas regarding his relationship with Italy and the cinema, and also a lot about the Brazilian political and cultural conditions in those years. A director’s tribute to Glauber and his father ‚ Jirges – both passed away in the early 80’s.
