Bonjour Cize: Festa Cesária Évora
Tributo Cesária Évora, com Lucibela (concert) / FININHO (dj set)
Cesária Évora is a black, African woman, over fifty years old and from a poor background, who had only her voice and whose only dream was to be free. The premiere of the documentary about her is the pretext to celebrate this freedom, the music of Cape Verde and the legacy of Cesária. Lucibela was born in 1986, on the island of São Nicolau. She is a singer of the new generation. Her mastery, vocal potential and interpretation already place her among the great voices of today. In this concert, she will be joined by a group of Cape Verdean musicians for a tribute to Cesária Évora. This is followed by a dance trip to the warm sounds of Cape Verde, with the digger, producer, and Dj FININHO.
