Last Saturday, April 23rd, the party started at 3pm and it never stopped.
During the afternoon, the little ones were at Musicbox, where they played, danced, watched films and sang Happy Birthday to for IndieJunior 18th birthday. They were so eager to celebrate that they lined up at the door, waiting for their turn to enter. The cake from Ponto Caramelo was enough for everybody. On the other hand, the balloons were not.
When night fell, it was the grown-ups’ turn to toast to another edition of IndieLisboa – International Film Festival. Still at Cais do Sodré, Karel’s concert opened the night, and Chima Hiro, Telma and Haidi Zeidan kept up the unstoppable cadence of dance, sweat and tears of joy.
Back to its spring dates, IndieLisboa’s 19th edition will take place from April 28th to May 8th, at São Jorge Cinema, Culturgest, Cinemateca Portuguesa, Cinema Ideal and Biblioteca Palácio Galveias.
