Films and a lot of dancing to close another IndieLisboa by Allianz

This year, IndieLisboa’s closing is done in two ways. The dancing starts Saturday May 11 at 23h with the classic closing party in Culturgest’s garage. Along with the announcement of the awards, the night will be marked by a trip through the sounds of the streets of Brazil. Funk music straight out of Brazil to extend the homage that this year was made to Brazilian cinema, thanks to the duo Cara // Vag // Yo. IndieLisboa in a collective trance on the last party of the festival, which is sure to have plenty of cool beats to dance to. The party will have free entrance.

On the last day of the festival, Sunday, May 12, there will be still plenty of good cinema to discover at the festival’s venues. With one single screening each, we have the restored version of Billy Wilder’s The Appartment, Domingo, by Clara Linhart and Felipe Barbosa, and Synonymes, the film which officially closes the festival and won the Golden Bear in Berlin. The screening, which serves as the official closing ceremony, will be attended by director Nadav Lapid.

For those who do not like to go to bed early and prefer less crowded spaces, Cinema Ideal hosts on May 11th at 23:59, the second Mouth of Madness Maration. A screening with a strong female presence that proves that women can do anything.
