ArteKino Festival will happen online from December 1 to 17 in 45 different European countries, and in some cinemas across Europe. In this 2nd edition its line up is composed of 10 strong and prestigious European feature films.
The 6 films available in Portugal are: Bright Nights, by Thomas Arslan; Scarred Hearts, by Radu Jude; Godless, by Ralitza Petrova; Living and other Features, by Jo Sol; The Last Family, by Jan P. Matuszynski and The Giant, by Johannes Nyholm.
ArteKino programme also presents Sunbeat, by Clara &Laura Laperrousaz; Colo, by Teresa Villaverde; Frost, by Sharunas Bartas and Chevalier, by Athina Rachel Tsangari.
To take part in the festival, audience members must register onartekinofestival.com and films are available for free (up to a limit of 5 000 screenings/film in Europe). After each viewing, the user awards the film a score from 1 to 5.
Voting for the films gives the viewers a chance to win a trip to the Berlin International Film Festival hotel, flight and accreditation included.
The Audience Award gives 30 000 euros to the film’s filmmaker, producer and sales agent to find new distribution opportunities for this European production.
