Nine screenings of the IndieMusic program will take place on the rooftop of the Cineteatro Capitólio/Teatro Raul Solnado. Thus, one more venue will be added to the list of IndieLisboa’s partnerships, which includes Cinema São Jorge, Culturgest, Cinemateca Portuguesa – Museu do Cinema and Cinema Ideal.
Considered one of the best buildings of modern Portuguese architecture, the Cineteatro Capitólio/Teatro Raul Solnado is located at the Parque Mayer and was inaugurated at the end of 2016, after the renovation of the building was stuck for seven years for rehabilitation reasons. The open air screenings of IndieMusic will have the support of the MUSA beer, which will have a bar on the building’s rooftop and several types of homemade beer to accompany the films.
