Concurso de apoio a curtas metragens: Euro Connection com inscrições abertas

Every year, short film projects are selected to participate in Euro Connection – a film co-production forum culminating in the pitching of the selected projects during Clermont Ferrand Film Festival (France) – one of the biggest film markets in Europe.

This excellent opportunity for producers and filmmakers planning to shoot a short film will take place on February 7th and 8th. Euro Connection is organised by Sauve Qui Peut le Court Métrage (Clermont-Ferrand) in association with the creative Europe MEDIA Desk France and the Centre National du Cinéma et l’Image Animée, with the support of the Creative Europe MEDIA sub-programme and the PROCIREP.

Submissions have to meet the following requirements: the project is a short film (animation, fiction, creative documentary), the duration does not exceed 40 minutes, the producer has already secured support or a partnership (no minimum amount), the producer is open to international co-production and the production/shooting shall start no earlier than May 2017.
A European jury will then elect 16 selected projects from all the finalist projects. The jury will include at least three industry profissionals from different nationalities. All finalist participants will be informed of the list of selected projects for Euro Connection by the end of November.

May apply producers whose company is officially located in one of the countries associated to the 2017 edition: Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Luxemburg, Malta, Netherlands & Flanders, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, United Kingdom.
Producers must submit their short film projects until October 20th to national representatives. In Portugal, festivals representing Euro Connection are IndieLisboa and Curtas Vila do Conde.
