Euro Connection call is now closed and we have selected the national projects applying to one of the biggest film markets in Europe at the Clermont Ferrand Festival. The films From the Cradle to the Grave, directed by João Vladimiro (production: Terratreme) and In Between the Shadows, directed by Alice Guimaraes and Monica Santos (production: Animais) will be submitted to an international jury. If selected, producers will participate in the pitching forum organized by the festival. Euro Connection platform aims to find partnerships between European producers, investors, sponsors and television. Each selected project shall be submitted by the producer / director, who will have 10 minutes to make a concise presentation, in English or French, at one of the pitching sessions that will take place on the 9th and 10th February 2016. In previous years Portuguese projects such as Rafa, directed by João Salaviza – which then won the Golden Bear for Best Short Film at the Berlinale – Abyss, directed by Leonor Noivo, or Christmas Wrapping Paper, directed by José Miguel Ribeiro were selected for the pitching forum.
