Eden: uma revolução em filme e uma festa na Culturgest

Eden is Mia Hansen-Løve’s first film to be shown in this year’s retrospective of the French filmmaker — one of IndieLisboa’s 2015 Independent Heroes (with Whit Stillman). 41 years after the Carnation Revolution, IndieLisboa will also celebrate, on April 25th, a different kind of revolution: French electronic music of the 1990‘s inspired by American house music, also known as “French touch”, which gave birth to musical acts such as Daft Punk. In her fourth feature film, Mia Hansen-Løve takes inspiration from her older brother’s life Sven Hansen-Løve, a DJ and essential part of Parisian nightlife in the 1990’s and 2000’s, to film a euphoric and melancholic story about the life of a young man who eventually faces the pains and difficulties of adult life and old dreams. After the film (shown at 21h15 at Culturgest), actor Félix de Givry will be giving a DJ set, followed by Portuguese DJ XINOBI until 4 AM — a party which will surely be remembered, in IndieLisboa, for years to come.
