We have previously highlighted some of the selected films for the next festival. It’s time to unveil a little more of the 2015 programme, which will continue to take shape until late March. Joining August Winds, by Gabriel Mascaro, and She Comes Back on Thursday, by André Novais Oliveira, arrive the most recent works of a generation that has shown a new Brazilian cinema to the world, two filmmakers, a veteran and a new and promising voice: Eugène Green and Joel Potrykus. An old friend of IndieLisboa, Eugène Green makes an awaited return with La Sapienza, after a five year hiatus since The Portuguese Nun. Joel Potrykus, which premiered his disruptive Ape at IndieLisboa 2013, invests once more in discomfort and rebellion – come and meet Buzzard at IndieLisboa 2015.
