At 16.00 in Culturgest (Grande Auditório) a session for 3 years or plus. The session will open with O Sapo Hop followed by Nau Caxineta, a short film made by the 4th grade class from the Caxinas’s school in Vila do Conde. A Toupeira e o Mar tell us a story of a mole who dreams of a beach! Levantar Vôo is not easy for the bird Joey, but when he meets the love of his life at the top of a tree, he has to try it harder. A Máquina de Fazer Comida da Miriam has a breakdown and her chicken tries to fix it … as always things go wrong … A Janela tells the story of a boy obsessed with stories of knights. Corrida is the best chance of a bullfighterfrom Madrid! As Manchas Verdes da Miriam will avoid the brother from steal the spotlight! O Passarinho e a Folha are on a winter day and start to dance, but the fox is watching them. A Ventoinha e o Candeeiro would be the perfect for the lamp, that is in love. Truca! and an unlikely friendship happens between a strange creature and a frog.
The holiday does will not be only fulfilled by film sessions, but also workshops prepared for the curious ones. At 14:45, Culturgest asks the little ones (from age 3) “Vamos ao Cinema”. It is with great excitement that we sit in the dark room to explore other worlds, especially with our family … Images pass in front of us and we illuminated. What these images transmit? What we would like to add to the film? Between stories and characters we propose a workshop where together we will find new adventures and realize our dreams!
At 16.00 it comes time to find out “A Magia do Cinema” at Cinema São Jorge, in Sala Montepio (plus 9 years). The cinema’s world is magical, how to discover it? With drawings? Photos? Painting? Maybe through the virtual world with new technologies used in the animated film with support from the Art Academy and Nintendo 3dsXL.This activity is adapted to each age.
In two sessions, at 11:15 and at 15:30, arrives the workshop “Anima-te” (6 to 12 years) taking place in Pavilhão do Conhecimento. How do you create movement in the film and what is the role of our brain in it? Participants in this activity will watch movie films, and notice the small differences of motion in each frame. With a computer and a webcam we will bring imagination and creativity to the test performing and editing of short film animation, where each will have a role in the story imagined by the group. The video will then be ssent to each participant / director.
