IndieLisboa will have a strong presence at the 63rd edition of the Locarno Film Festival, held from August 4th to 14th. Proceeding the promotion and programming strategy of IndieLisboa, through its participation in the major international film festivals, Ana Isabel Strindberg and Miguel Valverde will be at Locarno as programmers.
This year in Locarno, IndieLisboa will also organise a cocktail for industry guests, initiative meant to expand the festival’s international notoriety and promote Portugal as a touristic destination.
The film A History of Mutual Respect by Gabriel Abrantes and Daniel Schmidt, winner of the Media Recording Award for Best Portuguese Short Film at IndieLisboa’10, is also associated to this event. This short film was chosen to the short films competition in the section “Pardi di domani” at the Swiss Festival.
