(EN) Gabriel Abrantes retrospective in Belfort

The IndieLisboa’s double year awarded director, Gabriel Abrantes, will have a retrospective of his films in the Belfort film festival.

The festival takes place from 27th of November to 5th of December and will screen five short films heading by the young director: Olympia I (2006), Olympia II (2006), Visionary Iraq (2008), Too Many Daddies, Mommies and Babies (2008) and A History of Mutual Respect (2010).

Gabriel Abrantes was the winner of Fnac New Talent Award in IndieLisboa’09 with Visionary Iraq and also won the Media Recording Award for Best Portuguese Short Film in IndieLisboa’10 with A History of Mutual Respect. This short film was awarded with the Gold Leopard in this year edition of Locarno Film Festival.
