(EN) Program Highlights – 27th April

The World Pulse section will repeat the first session of short films, with After the Crash by Hito Steyerl, Our Pride and Glory by Meggie Schneider and Cities on Speed: Bogota Change by Andreas Mol Dalsgaard. Also in this section, three documentaries will be screened: Les Arrivants by Claudine Bories and Patrice Chagnard (Londres Cinema, 3 p.m.), Videocracy by Erik Gandini (City Classic Alvalade Cinema, 3.15 p.m.) and Once Upon a Time a Proletarian by Xiaolu Guo (Londres Cinema, 5.45 p.m.).

From the MusicBox Club Docs series, IndieLisboa will show a portrait of the band Micro Audio Waves atSão Jorge Cinema, 7 p.m.. From Jorge António’s trilogy, Angola ‚ Histórias da Música Popular and Kuduro ‚ Fogo no Museke will be screened at 9.45 p.m., at Culturgest’s Small Auditorium. The feature film Radio On by Chris Petit, from Director’s Cut, will be at City Classic Alvalade Cinema, at 3.30 p.m.

One of the special sessions, A Religiosa Portuguesa by Eugéne Green will be presented at Culturgest’s Large Auditorium, 10 p.m., with the presence of the director and actress Leonor Baldaque. Eugéne Green won the Feature Film Award with Le monde vivant at Indielisboa’s first edition. From then on, his movies have always been a part of the festival.
