The well known Film Festival from Aix-En-Provence, Tous Courts, is on its way to its 27th edition. Between 30th November and 5th December, Tous Courts aims to offer a space of creation and artistic freedom preserving the cultural diversity and celebrating short films.
Therefore, the section “Carnets de Voyage” responsible for giving a Carte Blanche to important professionals from the film industry, has chosen Dora Bouchoucha from the film festival Les Journées Cinématographiques de Carthage, Chicca Bergonzi from Locarno Film Festival, Brigitte Pardo from Canal+ and Miguel Valverde, IndieLisboa’s co-director.
Miguel Valverde’s programme will include six short films from Germany, Denmark, Ireland, United Kingdom and Portugal which were presented in past editions of IndieLisboa: Destination Finale by Philip Widmann, One Day by Ditte Haarløv Johnsen (Short Film Grand Prize IndieLisboa’08), Joy by Desperate Optimists (Artists in Focus IndieLisboa’09), Useless Dog by Ken Wardrop, Ah, Liberty de Ben Rivers and Visionary Iraq by Gabriel Abrantes and Benjamin Crotty (Talent FNAC Award IndieLisboa’09).
IndieLisboa and the Portuguese Cinema will continue their international itinerancy, promoting to very diversified audiences, some of the best national and international short films screened in past editions of the festival.
