Here are the awarded films of IndieLisboa 2021

IndieLisboa 2021’s awarded films were announced this Monday, September 6, at Culturgest.
The filmmaker Rosine Mbakam wins the Feature Film Grand Prize City of Lisbon with her film Delphine’s Prayers, a raw documentary that portrays a young Cameroonian woman carrying a past of suffering, belonging to a generation of young African women destroyed by our patriarchal societies and abandonned to sexual exploration. The International Competition Jury also awarded The Inheritancewith the TVCINE Special Award. The Award for Best Portuguese Feature Film was given to Jack’sRide by Susana Nobre, and the Dolce Gusto Award for Best Short Film to What Remains by Daniel Soares. And the Yellow Color New Talen Awardrevealed Laura Carreira’s “cirurgically precise directing”, with The Shift. The Short Film Grand Prize was given to Keep Shiftin’by Verena Wagner.
