Os grandes vencedores do IndieJúnior

IndieLisboa 2016 is already over but there are still three more days of films! Between May 2nd and May 4th, Cinema Ideal will screen the awarded films and we’ve already scheduled all the screenings of not only the feature films but also the short films which took home the festival’s awards, including Rudi Rosenberg’s The New Kid – winner of the Árvore da Vida IndieJunior Award. Benoit is a 14 year old kid who moves from the countryside to the big city of Paris with his family. Things go wrong on the first day of school and he is immediately excluded from the group of cool kids. But his heart still belongs to Johanna. The New Kid, directed by famous actor Rudi Rosenberg, follows the steps of the best kind of american teen films by masters of the genre like John Hughes and Howard Deutch. The Trinaranjus IndieJunior Award was given to The Short Story of a Fox and a Mouse, by Camille Chaix, Hugo Jean, Juliette Jourdan, Marie Pillier and Kevin Roger. A fox hunts a mouse but when a hunter shows up, everything changes – a story which captivated our youngest audiences.
