Besides all the films – most of them were never screened in Portugal before – we bring you a few surprises this year, like the film marathon at night with films from the Mouth of Madness section – the works of directors who had no fear of exploring uncharted territories. There are monsters created inside a teenager’s mind (Der Nachtmahr), tripping ponies (Lesley the Pony has an A+ Day), human monsters created by the relentless power of bureaucracy (Un Monstruo de Mil Cabezas), deadly farts (The Procedure) and classic horror monsters, like the witches from the eagerly awaited The Witch, by director Robert Eggers. For those who will dear to face this, the film marathon will happen on April 23rd, 23h30 at Cinema Ideal.
