Aqui não se pode fazer uma festa? As catacumbas do liceu Camões.

The anticipation of IndieLisboa 2016 happens with a film and music, both of them at Liceu Camões. First, we’ll have the screening of the iconic film RoboCop, Paul Verhoeven’s debut film in Hollywood. Action and adventure foreshadowing what the Independent Hero section will be like in IndieLisboa. The adventure then proceeds to the school’s catacombs for a nightmarish concert by Pega Monstro, in a sort of return to origins for Maria and Júlia Reis (both of them studied and started playing at this school), one of the best live bands in Portugal, who also launched their fantastic and well received album Alfarroba last year. The first part of the concert will be a rite of passage with the band Ninaz, current students at Liceu Camões and friends of Pega Monstro. To keep on playing music afterwards, we invited Pedro Ramos, from radio channel Radar, so we can dance furiously until the break of dawn.

The festival anticipation party takes place on April 9th (Saturday). RoboCop will be screened at 21h30, at Liceu Camões’ Auditorium. The party starts at 23h at the catacombs with a concert by Ninaz, followed by Pega Monstro and Pedro Ramos’ DJ Set (film: 3 euros; party: 6 euros; film + party: 7 euros)
