Many of the films that have their world premiere at IndieLisboa follow their way around the world after the festival, reaching an international audience. We love to accompany these routes: The Mesh and the Circle, directed by Francisco Queimadela and Mariana Caló, had its first presentation at IndieLisboa 2015 (International Competition/National Competition). The film will now have its international premiere at FID Marseille’s International Competition. An unusual sensory experience, The Mesh and the Circle attracted the National Competition Jury’s attention, which attributed the New Talent Award to the film. Ana Isabel Strindberg will attend FID Marseille, representing IndieLisboa and Portugal Film, to accompany the festival programme.
