After The Black Power Mixtape 1967-1975, Göran Hugo Olsson dives once again into the archives of Swedish television to offer a contemporary look, this time, on the colonial wars of the 20th century, tracing a parallel with the current racial tensions of the Western world. A film distributed by Alambique Films, in Portugal, on African and European history, through the voice of Lauryn Hill, that also looks at modern times. After its exhibition at Aula Magna, on April 29, 21h, in University of Lisbon’s Rectorate, there will be a public debate with special guests (soon to be announced). Tickets are available at Culturgest’s ticket office and Ticketline and also, from April 15, at the University of Lisbon Rectorate’s store (11h-16h).
