A Toca do Lobo, de Catarina Mourão, tem estreia mundial em Roterdão

Portugal Film’s birth could not be more auspicious: the first films represented by the agency, The Revolution Hunter, by Margarida Rêgo and The Wolf’s Lair, by Catarina Mourão, are making their way through the international circuit. A Wolf’s Lair, by Catarina Mourão, will have its world premiere by the end of January, at Rotterdam Film Festival. Margarida Rêgo’s film proceeds its international path at festivals around the world after its international premiere at Cannes Film Festival Directors’ Fortnight, such as T-Mobile New Horizons (Poland), Belo Horizonte Short Film Festival (Brasil), Gindou Festival (France), Kaunas Film Festival (Lithuania), Janela Internacional de Cinema do Recife (Brazil), L’Alternativa (Barcelona), Panorama Internacional Coisa de Cinema (Brazil), Seville European Film Festival (Spain) and Rio de Janeiro International Short Film Festival (Brazil).

Portugal Film represents, for now, a total of six films: The Revolution Hunter, by Margarida Rêgo, The Wolf’s Lair, by Catarina Mourão, Farewell, by Tiago Rosa-Rosso, The Indispensable Practice of Vagueness, by Filipa Reis and João Miller Guerra, October is Over, by Karen Akerman and Miguel Seabra Lopes and Here in Lisbon, by Denis Côté, Dominga Sotomayor, Gabriel Abrantes and Marie Losier. Here in Lisbon, a film commissioned by IndieLisboa Film Festival on the occasion of its tenth anniversary, is currently in post-production. Marie Losier and Dominga Sotomayor will finish the sound mixture of their segments in February. Details on the film’s release will be revealed soon.
