Five months to go and our dear IndieJunior already has a sold out screening! Future IndieLisboa spectators schools’ continue to ensure their presence at the festival in advance, knowing beforehand the importance that cinema has on children’s lives of and how exciting it can be for kids to watch a film that they are not used to see on regular mainstream channels.
IndieJunior is one of the most important sections of the festival, reaching a record number of 8,000 spectators in 2014. The programme of this section is growing as we speak. The first film selected for IndieJunior is Le petit Cousteau, by Jakub Kouřil, a film that tells the story of an underwater adventure in a city full of snow – an animation paying homage to Jacques Cousteau.
