(EN) Portuguese films presented in Seville

Two Portuguese films that premiered at IndieLisboa’10 will be screened at Seville International Film Festival in a initiative by the organiser of IndieLisboa in cooperation with the Portuguese Embassy in Spain.

Civil War by Pedro Caldas and Traces of a Diary by Marco Martins and André Príncipe will be presented in this Spanish festival in a special focus dedicated to Portuguese Festivals.

Pedro Caldas premiere in feature films, Civil War is a story on summer love and juvenile rebellion with a soundtrack that reminisces the early 80s music (Orange Juice, Joy Division, among others.

Conceived as a voyage journal, Traces of a Diary’s starting point is a series of encounters with some of the most significant contemporary Japanese photographers (Daido Moriyama, Nobuyoshi Araki) to explore the nature of the act of creating images and telling stories, on the process of building a diary.

The ninth edition of Seville International Film Festival takes place from November 2nd to 10th.
