In November, the festival directors will represent IndieLisboa ‚ International Independent Film Festival in international film industry activities.
The 52nd edition of Festival dei Popoli – International Documentary Festival will take place from November 12th to 19th in Florence (Italy) and Nuno Sena will be in the International Competition Jury. Festival dei Popoli, the most important Italian festival dedicated to this cinematographic genre and one of the main in Europe, has 9 sections, 4 official.
Miguel Valverde will be one of the members of the BIEFF ‚ Bucharest International Experimental Film Festival International Jury. This one of a kind Romanian festival will hold its 2nd edition in Bucharest from November 17th to 20th. BIEFF’s purpose is to reveal innovative films, content and form wise, and filmmakers who challenge the boundaries of cinematographic language.
In Warsaw, where IndieLisboa organises a Portuguese Cinema Panorama in cooperation with the Camões Institute delegation, Rui Pereira will represent the festival. At this showcase, two films that were screened at IndieLisboa’10 will be exhibited ‚ Lusitanian Illusion and As Horas do Douro. Aquele Querido Mês de Agosto and José & Pilar are also part of the programme.
