Manuel Mozos’ documentary Ruins won the TOBIS Award for Best Portuguese Feature Film last year and will premier in Portugal this thursday, the 1st of April, at Cinema King (Lisbon) and Teatro Campo Alegre (Oporto), by the hand of Alambique distributor.
The film has received a warm welcome in festivals such as FIDMARSEILLE (2009), where it won the International Georges de Beauregard Prize, VIENNALE ‚ Festival Internacional de Viena ’09 or BAFICI ‚ Buenos Aires International Film Festival (2010), among others, with a fragmented portrait of the time and space left behind, a new interpretation of the country’s history.
