IndieLisboa’09 will present Eccentricities of a Blond Girl, the most recent feature of Manoel de Oliveira
Eccentricities of a Blond Girl had its world Premiere last february at Berlinale, Berlin International Film Festival, where Moanoel de Oliveira recieved the Berlinale Kamera Award for his outstanding career as a filmmaker.
The film is based in a short story from the famous world wide known portuguese writer Eça de Queiroz, which tells the story of Macário, a young man who insists on marrying the woman he loves, however fate deals him cruel blows.
The film will be screened Tuesday, April 28th at 21h45, at São Jorge Cinema.
