The film Cat’s Cradle by Filipa Reis and João Miller Guerra, winner of the Pixel Bunker Award for Best Portuguese Short Film at IndieLisboa’12 will be screened at two international festivals in November.
At Festival dei Popoli ‚ International Documentary Film Festival that will take place from November 10th to 17th in Firenze (Italy), the short film is part of the International Competition.
Cat’s Cradle will also be presented at IDFA – International Documentary Film Festival Amsterdam at the Reflecting Images: Panorama section. The festival takes place from November 14th to 25th.
The film tells the story of Joana, a rebellious teenager who, despite her careless attitude, is raising her baby girl alone, without the help of her imprisoned boyfriend.
