Euro Connection is the marketplace for short film co-production in Europe.
It is presented by the Clermont-Ferrand Short Film Market, in association with the MEDIA Desk France and the Centre National de la Cinématographie. It receives support from the MEDIA programme and the PROCIREP.
Euro Connection is on its way to its second edition and will be held in Clermont-Ferrand on Tuesday 2nd February.
Presentations and meetings are being planned in order to promote fostering partnerships between European production companies, funders and broadcasters for short film projects.
There will be presented twenty projects, from fifteen participating countries: Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Estonia, France, Germany, Greece, Italia, Lithuania, Norway, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania and Switzerland.
In order to be eligible, applying production companies must meet the following criteria:
1. They must be located in one of the fifteen participating countries to this 2010 edition.
2. They must enter a project with partial funding secured in its country of origin, which is being developed with a real approach to European co-production and for which shooting shall start after February 2010.
3. They must commit to attend and pitch their project in case of selection.

Invitation covers hotel and meals for the duration of their stay (limited to one person per project).
