The 10th edition of IndieLisboa -International Festival of Independent Cinema returns from April 18th to April 28th with a very special edition. Until then, a series of 10 events that have already begun, will mark the celebrations of its 10th aniversary.
The festival aims to present the cinema from different perspectives by confronting the audience and the critics, the authors and the artists, the technicians the and market.
IndieLisboa is already on the streets through a series of events, sharing this anniversary with all of you.
Indie Moving Image
In April, several galeries of the city will be displaying some works of moving image: film and video from artists and filmmakers produced according to an installation context.
IndieLisboa goes underground
February was the month of IndieLisboa in the metropolitan station Baixa-Chiado PT Bluestation, with events from Monday to Friday. To close the cycle, IndieLisboa took the films “Taris” and “Zero for Conduct” from Jean Vigo to Teatro do Bairro, with live session with music by Norberto Lobo.
IndieLisboa App for iPhone and Android
Very soon you can see the programming of the 10th festival and mark every session not to be missed. The app developed by Up Digital will also have available information on the previous editions of IndieLisboa.
10 years, 10 arts
A collective exhibition composed by 10 works of 10 artists invited by the festival. Will be shown works made in the areas of music, dance, painting, sculpture, theater, literature, performance, photography, digital art and comics.
Indie on the loose in the city
Sessions of some of the most striking films of the past editions of IndieLisboa in singular and unrepeatable events, in several screening rooms in the capital.
T-shirt commemorating 10 years
IndieLisboa launched a competition to choose the design of the commemorative t-shirt. The proposal by the Collective 4.16It was the elected one, titled “10 years counted by the fingers.” Soon on sale at the festival store.
Lisbon Lovers
Lisbon Lovers store fell in love with IndieLisboa and from that love a collection of pins was born, one for each edition of the festival. On sale at Lisbon Lovers and at Festival.
Special edition packages of sugar
IndieLisboa launches, in partnership with Buondi, a special edition of the sugar brand packages, with images of previous years’ festivals. Look for them at a coffee shop near you.

Limited Edition Special Pack which includes the supply of two volumes of 10 DVD Portuguese Short Film in purchasing 20 tickets voucher carnet.
Correspondence between filmmakers
A letter allows whoever writes a great freedom and independence in its expression. IndieLisboa invites twenty filmmakers to write a letter – real or imagined – to a filmmaker of his choice. The book will have a limited edition and will be available at a date to be announced.
