As the Flames Rose, film screened at IndieLisboa’12, was now awarded at Locarno Film Festival.
The film directed by João Rui Guerra da Mata was awarded the Film and Video Prize at the Pardi di Domani section, which was granted last year to Liberty by Gabriel Abrantes and Benjamin Crotty.
For three years in a row the Portuguese short films have been awarded at this festival. In 2010 A History of Mutual Respect by Gabriel Abrantes and Daniel Schmidt won the the Golden Leopard.
