IndieLisboa was present at 67th edition of the Venice Film Festival, through the participation of his programmers Ana Isabel Strindberg, Rui Pereira and Nina Veligradi. This initiative intended to widen the promotion and divulgation of the Portuguese festival.
In partnership with Fundação Serralves and O Som e a Fúria, IndieLisboa organised a cocktail that hosted international cinema industry guests, and was associated to the exhibition of Portuguese films at the festival: Painéis de São Vicente de Fora, Visão Poética by Manoel de Oliveira and A Espada e a Rosa by João Nicolau. The cocktail took place at Filmmakers Villa, at 8th of September, in Venice.
The Portuguese films presented at Venice were the reason to gather specialists in cinema. This action intended to increase the awareness of IndieLisboa in the industry and also provide more visibility to Portugal as a touristic destination.
Venice Film Festival started at 1st of September and ended at 11th.
