The festival directors announced today the program for 2010. IndieLisboa will screen 276 films, from the 22th of April to the 2nd of May, at São Jorge Cinema, Londres Cinema, City Alvalade Cinema and, for the first time this year, Culturgest.

Among other novelties, there will be new prizes, namely the SIGNIS prize and the RTP / World Pulse prize. Also, the distribution prize, supporting the distribution of a feature film in the International Competition section of the festival, will be of 10.000 euros. With a total of 67.000 euros, prizes this year double last years’ amount.

Portuguese cinema will play an important role in the 7th edition, with 14 short films and 5 feature films in the National Competiton and a total of 40 films screened. For the first time in it’s history, there will be a portuguese movie opening the festival – “Fantasia Lusitana”, by João Canijo.
