Heddy Honigmann is one of the “Independent Heroes” of IndieLisboa’s next edition. The Lisbon Independent Film Festival will pay tribute to this renown documentary filmmaker with an unprecedented full retrospective of her work. Besides all her multi-awarded documentaries, this program will also include some lesser-known titles, such as Honigmann’s fiction films from the beginning of her career, as well as some episodes from a television series she also directed. This is the first time nearly all these titles will be screened in Portugal.El Olvido and Forever are the only ones already exhibited in previous editions of IndieLisboa (Forever won the Audience Award in 2007). Heddy Honigmann will be in Lisbon to present and discuss her films with the public.
