During IndieLisboa, the public has the opportunity to meet the authors of their favourite films. This informal ambient also proportionates professional meetings between the festival’s national and international guests.
The IndieLisboa’11 Opening Party, powered by Jameson, will take place on May 5th, Thursday, at Teatro do Bairro, from 11.30 p.m., with DJ Peter Trigueiro and a VJ by Droid I.D.. The admission price is 5 ‚Ǩ. On May 6th, Friday, at Teatro do Bairro, from 11.30 p.m., the party B. Leza presents Jon Luz and António Zambujo in a musical moment that will liven up the evening.
The film “Soap Opera in Wonderland”, by Eileen Hofer, gives theme to the party happening on May 7th, Saturday, at Teatro do Bairro, featuring the Swiss composer Nicolas Rabaeus in concert. On the same day, starting at 1 a.m., Musicbox receives an Indie Party powered by Jameson, with the DJ set Me Dá Só Sangue, by Lady G. Brown and John Gomes.
On May 8th, Sunday, is the Portuguese Music Night at Teatro do Bairro, starting 11.30 p.m.. In concert will be the Best Of the Alternative Song Contest, with 6 unique performances. Day 9, Monday, from 11.30 p.m., the National Competition DJ’s party brings together filmmakers Carlos Conceicao (“O Inferno”), José Manuel Fernandes (“Wakasa”), Mário Gajo de Carvalho (“Os Milionários”) Hugo Alves (“O Que Há De Novo No Amor?”), David Tutti dos Reis (“Candy Riot”), Vasco Monteiro and Pedro Mendonça (“Casa c/ Piscina”) and Hugo Vieira da Silva (” Swans “) at Teatro do Bairro.
Day 10, Tuesday, is Indie Team Night, at Teatro do Bairro, around 11.30 p.m.. Day 11, Wednesday, Videocinema is the name of the celebration happening at Teatro do Bairro. The program includes a concert by the project “We Trust” by Andrew Tentúgal, young Portuguese director best known for directing videos of X-Wife, Tetraton and Mind The Gap. With the single “Time”, Tentúgal presents his new album and a new facet as a musician. The ticket price is 5 ‚Ǩ.
Day 12, Thursday, the festival presents the Beasts Ballroom party, with DJ set Bandido$ and VJ by Droid I.D.. The Official Indie’11 Party will happen at Lux, 11.00 p.m.. On May 13th, Friday, at Teatro do Bairro, starting 11.30 p.m., is the party Mesa dos Frades, with Fado singer Carminho and friends. On May 14th, Saturday, Teatro do Bairro, from 11:30 p.m., the IndieLisboa’11 Closing Party, powered by Jameson will take place (price: 5 ‚Ǩ).
