Program Highlights – 28th April

From the International Competition, IndieLisboa’10 will screen: La Pivellina by Tizza Corvi and Rainer Frimmel, Le Jour où Dieu est partie en voyage by Phillipe Van Leeuw, The Blacks by Zvonimir Juric and Goran Devic, The Robber by Benjamin Heisenberg and Guerra Civil, Pedro Caldas’ first feature film. The session will be presented by Rui Pereira, festival director, and followed by a Q&A with the director after the session.

Also in portuguese, Fantasia Lusitana by João Canijo will screen again at São Jorge Cinema, at 4.15 p.m. After the session there will be a conversation with historians Irene Pimentel and Fernando Rosas. Following the premiere of A Religiosa Portuguesa, by Eugéne Green, the Fado Museum, in Lisbon, will celebrate song and cinema with the public, in the company of the director of the movie, lead actress Leonor Baldaque, actor Diogo Dória, fado singer Aldina Duarte and all the production team.
