IndieLisboa Days – Portuguese Cinema On Tour will start in October the first of four special programs to happen in four European capital cities until the end of the year.
From October 30th to November 1st, IndieLisboa Days will be taking place in London. Organized by IndieLisboa – International Independent Film Festival in collaboration with the French Institute in London and co-curated by Sight&Sound’s editor-in-chief Kieron Corless, the program includes four recent Portuguese features to be screened in one of London’s most prestigious independent cinema venues, the Ciné-Lumière.
The program includes Ruínas by Manuel Mozos (winner of the prize for best Portuguese feature at IndieLisboa’09), Perpetual Movements by Edgar Pêra (IndieLisboa’06 Best Portuguese Feature) and two films by Miguel Gomes – The Face You Deserve (IndieLisboa’04 Critics’ Prize) and the internationally acclaimed Our Beloved Month of August. Miguel Gomes will be introducing his films in London.
