“No”, from Pablo Larraín, will be the opening film of IndieLisboa’13. The work of the director will be back to the festival, this time with the amazing history of television campaign that said “no” to the Pinochet dictatorship. Larraín is an expert recreating an exciting moment of Chilean history and Gael Garcia Bernal plays Rene Saavedra, the brain of the advertising campaign. The director recreates original detail videos of the campaign, making the film an experience of revival from the ’80s.

Ten years ago, the first IndieLisboa opened its doors to the public with the unforgettable film by Richard Linklater, “Before Sunrise”. Ten years later, in a symbolic symmetry, “Before Midnight” will be the closing session of the tenth IndieLisboa. The act III of the story of Ethan Hawke and Julie Delpy, will be seen before midnight, on the penultimate day of the festival, April 27, at Culturgest.
