Last Tuesday, March 27th, IndieLisboa’12 Press Conference was held at Palácio Galveias. Miguel Valverde, Nuno Sena and Rui Pereira, the three festival directors, revealed the line-up guidelines which will steer IndieLisboa next edition.
The section dedicated to the younger audiences will have 31 films, 29 short films and 2 features. The film selection, devoted to schools and families, is divided into short films screenings for different school degrees and ages. There will also be features to be seen by this audience (for youngsters over 9 and 15 years). IndieJunior films compete for Estrelas e Ouriços Public Award.
Beside the film screenings, IndieJunior will give families and school audiences many other parallel activities like Workshops developed with partners like Pavilhão do Conhecimento Ciência Viva and Museu Berardo Educational Services. Meant for teachers and parents are the training sessions that are already happening in Culturgest Educational Service that will continue until the festival.
