The film directors Heddy Honigmann and Mercedes Álvarez will meet in Madrid on March 16th at 18h30 (17h30 in Lisbon) for a debate on documentary.
This session aims to make known the potential tools of documentary and the ways it uses to generate a mental reflection that allows the spectator to analyse his own environment. The session will be streamed online and open to the audience.
3XDOC Encuentro de Creadores, will happen in Madrid, between March 14th and 16th and presents a program dedicated to documentary and to the filmography of Heddy Honigmann. In 2010, this director starred the Independent Hero section at IndieLisboa and the festival edited a book on her work.
The presence of the Spanish film director Mercedes Álvarez in this initiative is also worthy of our attention since her last film Mercados Futuros will be screened in the section World Pulse in IndieLisboa’12.
