(EN) Manuel Mozos won an Award at FidMarseille

After winning the award for best Portuguese Feature at IndieLisboa’09, Ruínas by Manuel Mozos was awarded with the Georges Beauregard International Prize at FidMarseille.

Manuel Mozos has a vast filmography and his experience in cinema is outsized. In 2009, Manuel Mozos also directed Aldina Duarte: Princesa Prometida screened in the IndieMusic section at IndieLisboa.

The director will have a film commercially released this year. 4 Copas is a film from 2006 and is his third feature. The film portrays the city of Lisbon and narrates the story of four characters and their emotions, desires and fears.

In 2008, 4 Copas was selected to be in competition at Kalininegrado European Film Festival, where it had its world premiere. It was also in competition at Estoril Film Festival and it will be screened soon in the Portuguese cinemas.
